The Races of 3 Pillars

In the world of Mioregath, there are three major known races that live in it's six continents.

Surrideo The humans of Mioreagath are made out of clay sculpted by the Pillar of Genesis. The majority of the population in the world of Mioreagath are populated by these Surrideos who took their name from the Latin word for "smile" because that was the first emotion that came from the Arch-Diellar on her new home planet. The Surrideos reside within the Western continent of Occidens and the Eastern continent of Oriens, and few are seen outside of the two continents. The Surrideos can choose any name they desire, as long as it doesn't classify themselves with other races. Surrideos mostly get along with the faerie folk and they are least likely to get along with the Beastmen. They don't have any limits to what classes they can assign themselves to because they aren't born with a natural instinct for battle like the Beastmen, nor are they gifted with the natural ability for magick like the Elves. Therefore they easily adapt to anything. Surrideos also have different ethnic backgrounds such as Caucasian, African, and Asian though they all are recognized under the same race despite their various skin colors.

Beastmen No one really understood how the Beastmen came to the world of Mioreagath. There were stories that when the Pillar of Genesis was creating the Surrideos, some of the beasts that already inhabited the world were jealous of these bipeds. Eventually these envious beast evolved, growing humanistic features and even started to walk on two feet. While these are nothing more than folklore, the Beastmen themselves are no fairy tale. The Beastmen were first to appear in the Eastern continent of Oriens and they eventually migrated to the Western continent of Occidens where man were terrified of their animal qualities thus shunning them to exile in the forests. Still to this day, Surrideos and Beastmen cannot coincide together, and few Beastmen tried to unite the two races. Those Beastmen were called "Domesticated", a term coined by Beastmen who were prejudice of the other races. Beastmen are natural born savages with the instinct to prey and kill, much like their full-blooded quadruped counterparts. It is a rarity amongst the Beastmen for one to learn magick since their lack of education and the complexity surrounding the field. Statistically, there is usually 1 in 10,000 Beastmen who are skilled in the magickal arts. Also names have helped differentiate the different tribes of Beastmen. Canines were usually known after mathematical terms, Felines are named after food varieties, and Avians are named after chemical elements.

Elves The faerie folk fashioned from the sun and moon by the Pillar of Genesis. The Elven race mostly populated the Southern continent of Meridiens in the world of Mioreagath, though they can also be seen in other continents and are generally one of the more acceptable races out there due to their unity with the Surrideos. Elves are born with the gift of magick and are not taught to be fighters due to their frail bodies. Elves are separated by two types, the Light Elves called Ljósálfar and the Dark Elves called Dökkálfar. Light Elves distinguish themselves with lighter colors such as yellow and white to match their fair skin and lighter tones. They can stay out in the sunlight, but their powers are weaken by the moon's light since their source of power comes from the sun. The Dark Elves however distinguish themselves with darker colors such as black and violet to compliment their indigo skin and darker tones. They avoid the sunlight due to their condition which is similar to xeroderma pigmentosum which causes their skin to burn from the sun's rays, therefore they are mostly seen during the night. Elves' personal names are derived from inanimate objects or some take on names similar to Surrideos due to their united cultures, and their surnames are derived from their personality and are spelled backwards. Elves also age faster than Surrideos, so four months to a Surrideo equals to one year for Elves.

Hallow Dead Includes multiple races, but are reanimated. They are considered "undead with minds". You can tell a hallow dead because their skin with either be rotting, or patched together. They usually have whited-out eyes.
